"For everything, there is a
season and a time for every matter under
heaven...a time to tear and a time to sew"
Old Time Stitchers
The quilting circle meets in Heritage Hall on the second of every month from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The ladies enjoy good Christian fellowship along while stitching together blocks and cornerstones of love. One of their main projects is to sew together a quilt for the Lord's Acre held annually in October. If you love to sew, bring your sewing machines and your pins and needles for some good Christian stitching.
Secret Sisters has long been a tradition at Blooming Grove United Methodist Church in which
women come together to celebrate and lift each other up as Sisters in Christ. Each lady who
chooses to participate has a secret sister, and throughout the year, she prays for her Secret
Sister and honors her as a child of God as a way of celebrating God.
Mary Martha Ladies
Every third Wednesday of the month, the ladies get together for fun and fellowship in Heritage Hall
beginning at 11:00 a.m. Potluck is at noon. This group is also the prayer warriors of the church as
they pray over all the prayer requests that have been made each week by folk in the church.
